Georg A. Bochow


The German-Russian countertenor Georg Arssenij Bochow born in Berlin in 1991 began his successful career as a choir boy at the Berlin State Choir and Cathedral Choir and was distinguished in Canada with the Saint Nicolas Award of the Royal School of Church Music. Over the course of his voice change, Georg A. Bochow did not cease singing in the range of his boyhood voice and thus came into the countertenor vocal discipline in Stuttgart, among others, under the accompaniment of Alutus Matthias Rexroth.

Since the beginning of his vocals study at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin in 2011, he has prepared and performed concerts of the Handel opera "Rinaldo" as well as Monteverdi's "L'incoronazione Tu Poppea", among others.

Georg A. Bochow is also very active in contemporary music and among others, has participated in the Collective Opera Lab Berlin where he was to be seen in the Deutsche Oper Berlin - NEW SCENES in the premiere of Evan Gardner's “The Negotiator”.
